Benard leads the strategic direction of MAC and oversees all club operations. With experience in robotics competitions and industry internships, she's passionate about creating opportunities for students to develop practical engineering skills.

Boniface supports the Patron in club operations and focuses on internal organization. His expertise in circuit design and embedded systems has been instrumental in several successful club projects.

General Secretary

Civil engineering, Junior

James manages club documentation, meeting minutes, and official communications. Her organizational skills ensure smooth operations and effective information flow between teams.

Victor manages the club's finances, budgeting, and fundraising efforts. His financial acumen has helped secure sponsorships and efficiently allocate resources to various projects.

Eric oversees all club projects, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget. With experience in project management and technical leadership, he facilitates collaboration across different technical teams.

Robotics Team Lead

Leads all robotics training, development, and competitions. Guides members in robot design, sensors, actuators, and control systems while organizing robotics challenges, hackathons, and practice sessions in collaboration with the Projects Manager.

Designs & Fabrication Team Lead

Mechanical Engineering

Leads all design and fabrication activities within the club. Guides members in CAD modeling, technical drawings, and prototyping while overseeing fabrication processes such as 3D printing, machining, and material selection to bring ideas into reality.

Automation & PLC Team Lead

Dennis Njoroge

Conducts training on PLCs, industrial automation, and control systems. Guides members in ladder logic, HMI design, and industrial sensors while ensuring safe handling of high-voltage and industrial equipment.

IoT & Embedded Systems Lead

Japhes murithi

Provides training on microcontrollers, sensors, firmware, and IoT platforms. Oversees embedded systems projects, PCB design, wireless communication, and maintains IoT hardware including ESP32, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi.

Workshop & Fabrication Coordinator

Manages workshop tools, machines, and club assets while enforcing safety protocols. Supports fabrication activities such as welding, cutting, 3D printing, and CNC, and assists all teams with prototyping needs.

Public relations & Media Officer

Jecinta manages the club's public image, social media presence, and promotional materials. Her creative skills help showcase MAC's achievements and attract new members and partners.

Leadership Elections

How our leaders are selected

Democratic Leadership Selection

Our leadership team is elected annually through a democratic process that ensures transparency and member participation. All active members in good standing are eligible to vote and run for positions.

Elections typically occur at the end of the spring semester, allowing for a smooth transition and leadership training during the summer.

Eligibility

Active members with at least one semester of participation

Term Length

One academic year with option for one re-election

Two-week overlap for knowledge transfer between teams
